Term 1

Next week is the last week of Term 1. Everybody including Miss Pereira is looking forward  to a fun and relaxing holiday. 

We have had such an awesome term. Here’s some of  our favorite things that we have been doing in term 1... At the start of the term we made name tags on comic life which was really fun. Then we drew self portraits and they look great! Swimming was next and it was very cool how we got to learn how to swim in a pool that got deeper and deeper even though it didn’t look like it did. On Year 5 Outdoor Adventure Week we went ice skating, rock climbing, to Moana Pool and had a 4 hour walk at Ross Creek. Then next it was International Day on the 28th of March. We dressed up in our national clothes and had a parade in the hall.  We also began mathletics! We all love the activities and competing against our classmates. 

So as you can see we had an awesome term and can’t wait to find out what we’re going to do in term 2!!!
