MILK IN SCHOOLS

Hundreds of blue recycling bins are heading to the South Island to be delivered to schools joining the Fonterra Milk for Schools programme.
We  are lucky enough to get milk in schools. Milk is packed full of calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, vitamins and zinc. Calcium helps our bones grow strong!
The waste is sent to Thailand and recycled into roof tiles. We have a special way of folding the used milk cartons, so it does not take up too much room in the bins.
